1. Commitment to Accuracy
In public health journalism, accuracy is a matter of patient safety. We treat mistakes with utmost seriousness and pledge immediate, transparent rectifications.
2. Correction Taxonomy
- Minor Typographical Clarifications: Fixed immediately without disrupting article narrative.
- Substantive Factual Corrections: When a dosage, clinical trial figure, or medical fact is corrected, an editorial footnote titled "Correction Notice" is appended documenting the previous statement, the correction, and the modification time.
- Retractions: If a published study is retracted by a medical journal or proved scientifically unviable, Helthro withdraws the piece with a public explanation.
3. Reporting an Error
Readers are invited to report potential inaccuracies directly to corrections@helthro.com.
